The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection sets out its Summer 2028 in Europe
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has opened reservations for Summer 2028: 52 voyages aboard Evrima and Ilma, from the Mediterranean to the fjords of Norway and the coast of Iceland.

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has published its European season for Summer 2028, and reservations are already open. Between late April and October 2028 the yachts Evrima and Ilma will make 52 voyages across the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, from the fishing villages of the Italian Riviera to the fjords of Norway and the volcanic coast of Iceland.
Two seas, two yachts
The season falls naturally into two halves. Ilma spends more of her summer among the Greek Isles and in the Adriatic, while Evrima takes the northern routes through the fjords of Norway, which are listed by UNESCO, past the medieval capitals of the Baltic and into the volcanic landscapes of Iceland. Voyages last between four and nine nights, with round trips from Rome, Monte Carlo, Athens, Venice and Reykjavík, which makes it easy to add a few days in a city before or after.
Two ports join the programme for the first time: Gijón on the Atlantic coast of northern Spain and Portovenere on the Ligurian coast of Italy. For guests who already know the classics, calls like these are what make a second or third season with the collection worth planning.
The destinations our guests remember most are often the ones where they form the strongest connections, with the places they visit, the people they meet, and the moments they experience along the way.
Ernesto Fara, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht CollectionFour voyages worth noting
Of the highlights the collection names, two belong to Evrima. On 14 May 2028 she sails for seven nights from Nice to Rome, with a morning in Cannes, the harbours of Portofino and Portovenere and a call at Elba, where old fortifications stand above quiet coves. On 12 July 2028 a nine-night voyage runs from London to Copenhagen, along the Norwegian coast from Haugesund to Geiranger, through one of the country’s most dramatic fjords and on to Kristiansand and Aalborg.
Ilma opens on 9 May 2028 with a seven-night round trip from Athens to Mykonos, Santorini and its caldera, Patmos, Amorgos and Nafplio. On 27 July 2028 a seven-night round trip from Rome follows, with Valletta, Taormina beneath Mount Etna and Amalfi before a last island call on the way back.

Ashore by helicopter and by Jeep
The excursions come in three forms: pre-designed private excursions, select group excursions and custom private excursions planned around individual interests. In the Mediterranean the list includes a boat trip along the Portofino coast to the secluded bay of San Fruttuoso, harvesting oysters from the seabed at a family farm in Mali Ston Bay, a helicopter flight over Mallorca followed by a guided wine tasting, and a Jeep tour across the volcanic terrain of Milos. In the north, guests can fly over the waterfalls, lava fields and glaciers of Iceland by helicopter and land somewhere remote, or taste French caviar with Champagne at an eco-friendly estate in Bordeaux.
How we would plan it
Summer 2028 is a long way off, but the best suites on the most popular dates are always the first to go, and voyages of four to nine nights reward early planning. Joined to a hotel in Rome, Athens or Venice and a private flight home, a single voyage becomes a complete fortnight. If you are weighing the collection against a private yacht for the same week, the charter estimator shows what the private yacht would really cost.
